The name 'Geneva' has a weight to it with regards to planting that probably no other name has.

and the push? Well.. they don't call themselves 'Geneva Theorists' it's got an active feel, an urgency, yet they want to set themselves up as a support to other planting networks and planters already in process, as well as identifying new planters. I'd suggest the word fits well.

Matt's right I reckon, the intrigue of the name has already proven itself to be inviting of comment and discussion all over the blogsphere.

Church Planting Australia is lame :PAlan Readernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22478825.post-50670187388808071072009-10-21T22:48:47.699+11:002009-10-21T22:48:47.699+11:00Ha, well I guess Geneva says "reformation&quo...Ha, well I guess Geneva says "reformation" to me because there are lots of schools here called "Geneva College" or some variation thereof and they are all Calvinist leaning schools and universities.Joeynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22478825.post-74718334591540967242009-10-21T22:39:02.263+11:002009-10-21T22:39:02.263+11:00What's green and stands in the corner gatherin...What's green and stands in the corner gathering dust?
A church plant!
Secret language is so much fun - it stops anyone really understanding you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22478825.post-62934303921372021552009-10-21T20:36:03.182+11:002009-10-21T20:36:03.182+11:00You have to say that, you go to a church called We...You have to say that, you go to a church called Wellspring! :pChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06266685143006297057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22478825.post-428923025208369562009-10-21T19:50:50.675+11:002009-10-21T19:50:50.675+11:00"The Geneva Push" is catchy and mysterio..."The Geneva Push" is catchy and mysterious. "Church Planting Australia" is bland, boring and obvious.

It's like all those Christian things called "Mars Hill". The name has meaning, but it's not obvious on the surface. Heaps cooler than "City Bible Church".

Thus in conclusion, The Geneva Push wins.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
