It's a good thing to die if you are a Christian. I'm not saying it's not sad for people left behind, but when you die if your faith is in Christ you will be with Him, resurrected on the last day to a perfect sinless life in God's new creation.

Anyway, a new study recently released shows that in America, Christians are actually the people most likely to use aggressive, human forms of life prolonging (e.g. breathing machines) to extend their life here on earth by minutes or hours or a few days. Why? This is their way of giving God more time to work a miracle, or they believe that their life is sacred and therefore they must prolong death. Now I'm certainly not trying to outline my position on Christian medical ethics for terminal patients here, but I think if you can die well that is a good testament to your faith and that God's greatest gift to you might be death...

Let's be less afraid of dying, and more confident in the promises of God!
