Some interesting cultural insight from my brother down in Tassie about fashion.
It goes something like this... It's cool to shop at op-shops (second hand clothing outlets often run by people like the Salvation Army) and say you're not mainstream... But it's less cool to actually wear what you buy and thus everyone is still mainstream.
My point: Follow Jesus if you don't want to fit in or be mainstream!
