I have an iPhone 3GS and I love it. I love all the apps, the big screen. But let’s be honest it kinda sucks as a phone.
Group contacts and sending them a text message is arduous and complicated. Ringing someone isn’t that pleasant. You have to slide your finger across the phone to answer by which time you might have missed the call if you’re not right next to your phone. Mine also has pretty bad reception (though that’s not exclusively the phones fault my old phone on the same network wasn’t as bad).
I still love it. But I hope that it become a better actual phone by the time the release iphone 4GS or 5 or whatever.

You should try out an android phone (like the HTC desire, or the HTC desire S when it comes out)... Sending group messages is a piece of cake... and since it sync's with gmail contacts, I can use the same contact group to do a group email... And (except for when I've been in the absolute middle of nowhere) I've never noticed that I've not had reception. That could be because of the network though :-P
ReplyDeleteI agree... love my HTC Desire... much faster processor than an iPhone and sending group messages is easy! I have my on Telstra and have no issues... would def buy the same thing again next time!
